RESOLUTION 06-98
APPROVAL OF THE SITE PLAN FOR ST.BONIFACE CHURCH ADDITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Site
Plan for St.Boniface Church Addition on April 25,2006;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed height of the new sanctuary including the cross is 58 feet
above grade,while the Zoning Ordinance provides for a maximum height for structures
in the A-I Agricultural District of 40 feet;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has the authority to allow for exceptions for
structures above the maximum height limit;AND,
WHEREAS,the Site Plan for St.Boniface Church Addition is otherwise in general
conformance with §304 -Site Plan Ordinance ofthe Waukee Municipal Code,as well as
the Arterial Corridor Overlay District.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa in session this 15th day of May 2006 that the Site Plan for St.Boniface Church
Addition be approved with the height of the sanctuary and cross at 58 feet above grade,
and provided a development agreement regarding future University Avenue obligations is
executed between St.Boniface Church and the City of Waukee,Iowa.
