RESOLUTION 06-127 IARESOLUTIONPROVIDINGFORTEMPORARYADDITIONALCOMPENSATION
FOR THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Director of Public Works has been appointed as the Interim City Administrator,
temporarily,in addition to his previous position,until such time as a City Administrator is
appointed by the Council;AND,
WHEREAS,the Assistant Director of Public Works is expected to provide additional assistance
in the Public Works Department while the Director undertakes to fulfill the dual role;AND
WHEREAS,his provision of such additional assistance to the Department is expected to
continue until a permanent City Administrator is put in place;AND
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City Council to provide additional compensation related to the
employee's provision said additional assistance on a temporary basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
19th day of June 2006,that Tim Royer be compensated,in addition to his compensation
previously established for his duties as the Assistant Director of Public Works,$2.75 per hour,
for the period beginning with the Director of Public Works called upon to act as Interim City
Administrator,in addition to the Director of Public Works,until such date of hire of a City
Administrator/Clerk.
