RESOLUTION 06-126
APPROVAL OF A 3.5%CPI INCREASE FOR THE INTERIM CITY
ADMINISTRATOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Director of Public Works has been appointed as the Interim City Administrator,
temporarily,in addition to his previous position,until such time as a City Administrator is
appointed by the Council;AND,
WHEREAS,his role as Interim City Administrator is expected to continue until a permanent
City Administrator is appointed by the City Council;AND
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City Council to provide additional compensation related to the
employee's appointment on a temporary basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
19th day of June 2006,that John Gibson be compensated,in addition to his compensation
previously established for his duties as the Director of Public Works,by approving a 3.5%
consumer product index (CPI)increase,until such date of hire of a City Administrator/Clerk.
