RESOLUTION 10-04
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CITY ATTORNEY FOR
THE YEAR 2010
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council must appoint the position of City Attorney
anuually;AND,
WHEREAS,the law firm of Brick,Gently,Bowers,Swartz,Stoltze,Schuling &Levis,
P.C.,hereinafter known as Brick Gently Law Firm,was first appointed as City Attorney
by the City Council on June 6,2005 (Resolution #05-90);AND,
WHEREAS,the Brick Gentry Law Firm has proven to be an excellent partner with and
resource for the City of Waukee in all necessary aspects of the legal system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on
this 4th day ofJanuary,2010,does hereby approve the appointment of Brick Gently Law
Firm as City Attorney for the Year 2010.
