RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS (REVISED)
WHEREAS,on the 9th day of March,2009,the Mayor and Clerk of Waukee,Iowa,
entered into construction contracts for the construction of certain public improvements
generally described as construction of the Northview Drive Extension and 6th Street
Improvements;and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee approved a resolution accepting
public improvements for said project on November 2,2009 (Resolution #09-222);and
WHEREAS,due to a clerical en-or,the Engineer recommends the City Council
rescind its November 2,2009 acceptance of public improvements related to the project;
and
WHEREAS,the contractors have fully completed the construction ofthe public
improvements in accordance with the tenus and conditions of the contracts and plans and
specifications,as shown by the revised certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on
December 17,2009:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section I.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted,and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been
fully completed in accordance with the plans,specifications and form of contracts and the
total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $1,512,050.39,as shown in
the report ofthe Engineer.
