RESOLUTION 10-28
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
FOTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENVIRONMENT,LLC,REGARDING
ALICE'S ROAD,UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO HICKMAN ROAD,FUNCTIONAL
DESIGN AND ESTIMATING SERVICES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the services of Foth Infrastructure and Enviromnent,LLC
(the "Engineer"),to functional design and estimating services for the Alice's Road Corridor,
University Avenue to Hickman Road,Project (the "Project");AND,
WHEREAS,the scope of the Project includes preparation of functional geometric plans for the
roadway,a conceptual level Opinion of Probable Construction Cost,and three (3)meetings with
City staff to review progress and receive direction;AND,
WHEREAS,the Engineer's fee for the scope of the Project shall be an hourly fee not to exceed
the amount of $4,500.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the Agreement for Engineering Services is subject to review and final approval by
the Waukee City Attomey.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Engineering Services with Foth Infrastructure and Environment,LLC,regarding
Alice's Road,University Avenue to Hickman Road,Functional Design and Estimating Services,
is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the s"day of February
