RESOLUTION 10-27
APPROVING AN IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT FOR
FUNDING THROUGH IOWA'S LIVING ROADWAYS PROJECT PROGRAM,
AGREEMENT NUMBER 25-01-09 (WAUKEE,DALLAS CO.);PROJECT NUMBER
STP-ES-TREE (14)-81-00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City submitted a project application for a Iowa Living Roadways/Trees Forever
grant related to a segment of the Raccoon River Valley Trail,4th Street to 6th Street;AND,
WHEREAS,the project application has been approved in the amount of $11,678.20 and has
been granted archaeological clearance;AND,
WHEREAS,an agreement between the City and Trees Forever as approved by the Iowa
Deparhnent of Transportation must be approved and executed in order to receive the awarded
funding;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attomey and City staff have reviewed the agreement and recommend
approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 8th day ofFebrnary 20 I 0 that the Iowa Department of Transportation Agreement for Funding
through Iowa's Living Roadways Project Program,Agreement Number 25-01-09 (Waukee,
Dallas Co.);Project Number STP-ES-TREE (14)-81-00,is hereby approved.D~l/k,nfr--
