RESOLUTION 10-50
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2011 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHQRITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State ofIowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State of Iowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2011 budget,and to
maintain the $13.50 tax rate for the Waukee citizens,for the eleventh year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 8,20 I 0 during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY20 II
budget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2011 budget and after
receiving citizen input on the FY2011 budget,finds the FY20 11 budget fiscally
responsible and responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 8th day of March 2010 that it hereby approves the proposed FY2011 Budget.
