RESOLUTION 10-59
APPROVING FUNDING FOR THE WAUKEE AREA ARTS COUNCIL IN
FISCAL YEAR 2011
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Area Arts Council has requested an additional $5,000.00 of
funding from the City for fiscal year 2011,for a total request of $1 0,000.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council has previously approved $5,000.00 of funding in the
FY2011 General Fund Budget;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends the additional funds be allocated from the FY2011
General Fund,Administration Department,and Miscellaneous/Contingency accounts.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 8th day of March 2010 that it hereby approves an additional $5,000.00 in
funding to the Waukee Area Arts Council in fiscal year 2011,for a total fiscal year 2011
contribution of$10,000.00;AND,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said additional funding shall be reflected in a
futnre fiscal year 2011 budget amendment .
