RESOLUTION 10-139
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
DOWNTOWN DESIGN COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has established the Downtown Design Committee in order to
identify various components of Downtown Design Guidelines,as well as to help in formulating the
criteria for the Downtown Facade Improvements Program which would provide potential funding for
individual building enhancement proj ects in the Downtown Business District area (Resolution #10-
138);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed the following as members of the Downtown
Design Committee:
1)Mayor William F.Peard
2)Dan Dutcher (City Council representative)
3)Brian Mook
4)Mike Nigro
5)Tim Schillinger
6)Greg Grote
7)Mike Schnoes
8)Cheryl Laird-Humphrey
9)Lyn Schafer
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on this
the 10th day of May 2010 that it hereby approves the mayor's appointment of members to the
Downtown Design Committee.~~
