RESOLUTION 10-167
APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF RECREATION
SUPERVISOR,AND DIRECTING CITY STAFF TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF
FILLING SAID POSITION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,due to a lack of programming for early childhood and senior citizens,City staff
recommend that the position of Recreation Supervisor be created;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has reviewed the job description for the position of
Recreation Supervisor and finds it appropriate;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Fiscal Year 2011 budget includes funding for this position at a
rate of$45,000 plus benefits;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 17'h day of May,2010,that it hereby approves the job description for the position of
Recreation Supervisor;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council directs City staff to begin the process of
filling the position of Recreation Supervisor.
