Home My WebLink About2010-05-17-Resolutions 10-141_Mayor-Council-Staff Roles ReportTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 10-141 APPROVING A MAYOR-COUNCIL-STAFF ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REPORT DATED APRIL 21,2010 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal Organization;AND, WHEREAS,on April 21,2010,the Waukee City Council took part in a work session meeting facilitated by Jeff Schott of the Institute of Public Affairs,University ofIowa;AND, WHEREAS,the intent of the work session meeting was to discuss roles and responsibilities of the mayor,city council members and key staff at local,regional,state and federal levels; AND, WHEREAS,as a result of the work session meeting discussion,the Institute of Public Affairs has provided a Mayor-Council-Staff Roles and Responsibilities Report,attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 17th day of May 2010 that the Mayor-Council-Staff Roles and Responsibilities Report dated April 2 I,20 I 0,is hereby approved.
