RESOLUTION 10-153
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A JOHN DEERE 5075E TRACTOR AND
CX15 ROTARY MOWER FROM VAN WALL EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $20,868.30
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
ofa John Deere 5075E Tractor and John Deere CX15 Rotary Mower from Van Wall
Equipment in the amount of $20,868.30;AND,
WHEREAS,said tractor and mower will replace an existing 1998 model tractor and
mower as part ofthe Public Works Department vehicle replacement program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 17th day of May 2010 that it hereby approves the purchase of a John Deere
5075E Tractor and CX15 Rotary Mower from Van Wall Equipment in the amount of
$20,868.30.
