RESOLUTION 10-168
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
DOCUMENT CONCERNING THE WAUKEE FOX CREEK/ALICE'S ROAD
OUTFALL SEWER PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,an Environmental Impact Document/study has been prepared/conducted in
connection with the Fox Creek/Alice's Road Outfall Sewer Project;AND
WHEREAS,the City desired to hold a public hearing to inform area residents ofthe City
of Waukee of this proposed Fox Creek/Alice's Road Outfall Sewer Project and the
Environmental Impact Document/Study related to the impact of the project and to address
citizen's concerns,if any;AND
WHEREAS,the City Council set a date for Public Hearing for June 7,2010 and
published notice of the same in accordance with applicable law,AND
WHEREAS,on June 7,2010,the Waukee City Couucil held a public hearing,discussed
the proposed project and the EID and the Summary of conclusions therein and received
and addressed the concerns and/or questions ofthose present at the public hearing;AND,
WHEREAS,after consideration of the Environmental Impact Document,input from the
Public and information received at said hearing the City Council believes that the
Enviromnental Impact Document should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this the 7th day of June,2010 that it hereby approves the Environmental Impact
Document prepared in conjunction with the proposed Fox Creek/Alice's Road Outfall
Sewer Project and authorizes Mayor William F.Peard to approve and exec the S31ne.
