RESOLUTION 10-195
APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/CREW LEADER
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,with the large volume of projects taken on by the Waukee Public Works
Department,City staff believes it is in the best interest ofthe City to have a crew leader onsite to
supervise on such projects;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend that two such Equipment Operator/Crew Leader positions be
created,both with the same job description;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed job description has been reviewed and approved by both the City
Attomey and the Communications Workers of America (CW A),Local #7102,AFL-CIO;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
tins tile 21 st day of June,2010,that it hereby approves the job description for the position of
Equipment Operator/Crew Leader.
