APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE WOODCREEK DRIVE FROM 610
SE WOODCREEK DRIVE TO 700 SE WOODCREEK DRIVE BEGINNING
SATURDAY,JULY 17,2010,AT 4:00 P.M.AND ENDING SUNDAY,JULY 18,2010 AT
12:00 A.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Mike Davis,625 SE Woodcreek Drive,requests the temporary closure of SE
Woodcreek Drive from 610 SE Woodcreek Drive to 700 SE Woodcreek Drive for the purpose of
a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed beginning Saturday,July 17,2010,at 4:00 p.m.and ending
Sunday,July 18,2010 at 12:00 a.m;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
12th day ofJuly,2010,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Woodcreek Drive
from 610 SE Woodcreek Drive to 700 SE Woodcreek Drive beginning Saturday,July 17,2010,
at 4:00 p.m.and ending Sunday,July 18,2010 at 12:00 a.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood
block party.
