RESOLUTION 10-224
APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMITTEE TO BE KNOWN AS THE
ALICE'S ROAD CORRIDOR MASTER PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,it has been determined that a connnittee is necessary in OTdeTto establish goals and
expectations of the project and provide input,review,and oversight of the project progress;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Alice's Road Corridor Master Plan Steering Committee (the "Committee")
shall be established in order to fulfill this need;AND,
WHEREAS,the Committee shall remain in existence until such time as the Alice's Road
Corridor Mastel'Plan has been duly adopted by the City Council;AND,
WHEREAS,the Mayor shall appoint the Committee members,which shall consist of no more
tban twenty (20)members;AND,
WHEREAS,the Committee shall meet as necessary and shall comply with all provisions of
Code ofIowa Chapter 21,Official Meetings Open to Public (Open Meetings)and Chapter 22,
Examination of Public Records (Open Records);
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 9th day of August 2010 that it hereby approves the establishment of a committee to be
known as the Alice's Road Corridor Mastel'Plan Steeling Committee.
