RESOLUTION 10-231
APPROVING ADDITIONAL SERVICES REQUEST NO.1,NEEDS ASSESSMENT
SURVEY COORDINATION,WITH GENUS LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS RELATED
TO THE PARKS,RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
DESIGN
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee approved the contract with Genus Landscape Architects to
draft a City of Waukee Parks,Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan Design on
November 16,2009;AND,
WHEREAS,the Parks and Recreation Board recommends that the contract with Genus
Landscape Architects be amended to reflect that Genus Landscape Architects will take the
survey results received from Leisure Vision and implement the survey results into the City of
Waukee Parks,Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan Design;AND,
WHEREAS,the letter amending the contract with Genus Landscape Architects attached as
Exhibit A hereto is submitted for consideration by the City Council and the City Council finds
the same should be approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
that the amended contract between the City and Genus Landscape Architects should be and the
same is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 9th day of August,
2010.
