RESOLUTION 10-234
APPROVING A SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR FY2011 FOR THE
CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Jeffrey L.Kooistra is serving as the City Administrator/Clerk for the City of
Waukee at the will of the City Council of the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,a performance evaluation was conducted between the City Administrator/
Clerk and the City Council of the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee hereby determines that it desires to
provide for a salary adjustment for the City Administrator/Clerk,taking into account
increases in the costs ofliving and other relevant factors"
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by tbe City of Waukee City Council that
Jeffrey L.Kooistra,in consideration of his continued employment,at will,as City
Administrator/Clerk,with the City of Waukee that his annual base salary be adjusted
effective July 1,2010,be increased by 1.0%as allowed,in the discretion of the City
Council,pursuant to paragraph 5 of the employment contract with the City
Administrator/Clerk.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this,the 9th day of
August 2010.
