RESOLUTION 10-243
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
COPELAND RECREATION AND SPORTS COMPLEX
STEERING COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has established the Copeland Recreation and Sports
Complex Steering Committee in order to work with the architectural firm contracted by the City
of Waukee for the Copeland Recreation and Sports Complex on the design of Phase I
improvements (Resolution #10-242);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed the following as members of the Copeland
Recreation and Sports Complex Steering Committee:

4)Josh VandeKarnp
5)Brad Deets
6)J en)'Slagter
7)Cecil Williams

WHEREAS,Mayor Peard has also appointed himself and Council Member Casey Harvey as
Council Representatives to the committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 23'-dday of Angust 2010 that it hereby approves the mayor's appointment of members to
the Copeland Recreation and Sports Complex Steering Co ittee.
