RESOLUTION 10-241
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
PARKS,RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
STEERING COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has established the Parks,Recreation and Open Space
Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee in order to work with the architectural film contracted
by the City of Waukee on the design of the Parks,Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive
Plan (Resolution #10-240);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed the following as members of the Parks,
Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee:

2)Jeff Kooistra 7)Denise Anderson
3)John Gibson 8)Dan Gardiner
4)Josh VandeKamp 9)Keith McCay
5)Brad Deets
WHEREAS,Mayor Peard has also appointed himself and Council Member Mike Watts as
Council Representatives to the committee;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 23rd day of August 2010 that it hereby approves the mayor's appointment ofmembers to
the Parks,Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive PI teering Commi e.
