RESOLUTION 10-235
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE SAGEWOOD CIRCLE BETWEEN SE
WACO PLACE AND SE LAUREL STREET ON SATURDAY,SEPTEMBER 18,2010,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Brian Kelting,545 SE Sagewood Circle,requests the temporary closure of SE Sagewood
Circle between SE Waco Place and SE Laurel Street for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,the street will be closed on Saturday,September 18,2010,between the hours of 5:00
p.m.and 10:00p.m.;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 23'd
day of August,2010,that it hereby approves temporary closing of SE Sagewood Circle between SE
Waco Place and SE Laurel Street on Saturday,September 18,2010,between the hours of 5:00 p.m.
and 10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
