RESOLUTION 10-252
APPROVING THE SITE PLAN FOR WAUKEE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS WIND
ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,lOW A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zarling Commission approved the Site Plan for
Waukee Community Schools Wind Energy Conversion System;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Community School District has provided a site plan and
corresponding documentation consistent with §301.8(O)-provisions for Wind Energy
Conversion Systems within the General Regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Waukee
Municipal Code;
WHEREAS,Notice ofIntent to Install a Wind Energy Conversion System was provided to
property owners within 200 linear feet of the applicant's property on August 13,2010,which
identified the date and time of the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council meetings
as required by §301.8(O)-provisions for Wind Energy Conversion Systems within the General
Regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 13th day of September,2010 that the Site Plan for Waukee Community Schools is approved.
