RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SOLICITATION OF
QUOTATIONS FOR THE BIKE TRAIL SEWER PROJECT AND
APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
PROJECT
WHEREAS,on the 20th day of September,2010,plans,specifications,form of contract
and estimate of cost were filed with the Clerk related to the construction of certain public
improvements described in general as the Bike Trail Sewer Project;and
WHEREAS,the plans,specifications,form of contract describe the work to be
performed,and the estimate of costs reflect that a request for Quotations pursuant to Chapter 26
Code ofIowa (2010)is appropriate:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE,row A:
Section 1.That the plans,specifications,form of contract and estimate of cost are hereby
approved as the plans,specifications,form of contract and estimate of cost for the public
improvements,as described in the preamble of this Resolution.
Section 2.That the City shall malce a good faith effort to obtain quotations in the manner
prescribed in Chapter 26 Code of Iowa (2010)for consideration and action by the City in
furtherance of said Project.Staff is directed to proceed to obtain said Quotations.
