RESOLUTION 10-269
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
WAUKEE AREA RECREATION TASK FORCE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee City Council has established the Waukee Area Recreation Task Force
in order to improve communication between and among the various sports-related groups,
organizations and businesses operating in and around Waukee (Resolution #10-268);AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard has appointed the following as members of the Waukee
Area Recreation Task Force:
1)Matt J ermier,Parks and Recreation
2)Josh VandeKamp,Parks and Recreation
3)Lisa Bean
4)Virginia Stone
5)sitting president of Waukee Soccer Club
6)sitting president ofW AC Softball Club
7)sitting president of Walnut Creek Little League
8)sitting president of Waukee Tackle Football League
9)executive director of Waukee YMCA
10)owner of Sportsl'lex West
11)owner of AllStar Strike Zone
12)athletic director of Waukee Community School District
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 4'h day of October 2010 that it hereby approves the mayor's appoint ent of members to
the Waukee Area Recreation Task Force.
