RESOLUTION 10-283
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF AN INTEGRATED LIBRARY SYSTEM
(AUTOMATION)AND PC/PRINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BY THE WAUKEE
PUBLIC LIBRARY FROM THE LIBRARY CORPORATION IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $69,900.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,funding for the purchase of an Integrated Library System (automation)and
PC/print management systems by the Waukee Public Library was approved as part of the
fiscal year 2011 City of Waukee budget;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Public Library staff recommend the purchase of such systems from The
Library Corporation (TLC)in an amount not to exceed $69,900.00;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees,at their regularly-scheduled monthly
meeting on September 14,2010,have approved the purchase of such systems from TLC in an
amount not to exceed $69,900.00;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 1st day of November 2010 that it hereby approves the purchase of an Integrated Library
System (automation)and PC/print management system by the Waukee Public Library from
TLC in an amount not to exceed $69,900.00,contingent upon contract approval by TLC and
the City Attorney.
