RESOLUTION 11-06
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE
FOR THE YEAR 2011
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint an individual to the position of
Chief of Police;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard reappoints Larry J.Phillips as Chief of Police for
calendar year 2011;AND,
WHEREAS,Larry J.Phillips has served as the City of Waukee Chief of Police since
January 1980;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on theio"of January,2011,does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of Larry J.Phillips
as Chief of Police for the Year 2011.
