RESOLUTION 10-299
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A CAB CHASSIS WITH SNOW PLOW
PACKAGE FROM O'HALLORAN INTERNATIONAL
IN THE AMOUNT OF $163,342.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of a Cab Chassis from O'Halloran International,which includes a snow plow package
from Hawkeye Truck and Equipment,in the amount of$163,342.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the purchase prices is the state bidding price on this unit;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase is to replace an existing dump truck and plow as
part of the Public Works Department equipment replacement program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of December 2010 that it hereby approves the purchase of a Cab
Chassis with snow plow package from O'Halloran International in the amount of
$163,342.00 .
