RESOLUTION 11-16
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A KNAPHEIDE SERVICE BODY FOR
THE MECHANICS TRUCK FROM TRUCK EQUIPMENT,INC.,DES MOINES,
IOWA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,on January 24,2011,the Waukee City Council approved the purchase of a
mechanics truck from Stivers Ford,Waukee,Iowa,in the amount of$20,916.00
(Resolution #11-15);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of a Knapheide Service Body for said mechanics truck from Truck Equipment,Inc.,Des
Moines,Iowa,in tbe amount of$8,000.00;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 24 til day of J anuary 2011 that it hereby approves the purchase of a
Knapbeide Service Body for mechanics truck from Truck Equipment,Inc.,Des Moines,
Iowa,in the amount of $8,000.00.
