RESOLUTION 11-34
APPROVING THE PROPOSED FY2012 BUDGET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly incorporated City within the County of Dallas
and the State ofIowa AND,
WHEREAS,the State of Iowa has set March 15 as the date cities must submit a certified
budget to their respective county auditors AND,
WHEREAS,all City departments have worked hard to create the FY2012 budget,and to
maintain the $13.50 tax rate for the Waukee citizens,for the twelfth year in a row AND,
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held March 7,2011 during the regularly scheduled
council meeting to seek and to receive citizen input concerning the proposed FY2012
hudget AND,
WHEREAS,the city council,after reviewing the proposed FY2012 hudget and after
receiving citizen input on the FY2012 hudget,finds the FY2012 budget fiscally
responsihle and responsive to the needs of the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 7th day of March 2011 that it hereby approves the proposed FY2 2 Budget.
