RESOLUTION 11-37
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SURVEY EQUIPMENT FOR THE
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FROM IOWA TRANSIT,INC.,OF GRIMES,
IOWA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,995.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THEAUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,GPS equipment software currently being used by the City of Waukee
Public Works Department is outdated and upgrades to the current software would not be
compatible with present and future GIS mapping needs;AND,
WHEREAS,Public Works Department recommends the purchase of survey equipment
from Iowa Transit,Inc.,of Grimes,Iowa,in the amount of $7,995.00;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 71h day of March 2011 that it hereby approves the purchase of survey
equipment from Iowa Transit,Inc.,of Grimes,Iowa,in the amount of$7,995.00
