RESOLUTION 11-62
APPROVING A STORMW ATER BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department and the Stonnwater Utility recommend the approval
of a Stormwater Best Management Practices Reimbursement Program (the "Program");AND,
WHEREAS,the goal of the Program is to encourage Waukee residents to install and implement
best management practice features on their property in order to create a partnership in aiding in
the improvement of water quality through education and action and towards the goal of a
Sustainable Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,the Program would also assist the City ofWaulcee in meeting the requirements of
the MS4 permit;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
4th day of April 2011 that it hereby approves a Stormwater Best Management Practices
Reimbursement Program,
