RESOLUTION 11-82
APPROVING MOSQUITO CONTROL PROPOSAL FROM
WILSON BROS.PEST CONTROL
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has implemented a Pest Management Program to control
mosquito infestation;AND,
WHEREAS,Wilson Bros.Pest Control presented a proposal for providing mosquito control for
the summer of20ll;AND,
WHEREAS,Wilson Bros.Pest Control will provide the following services:
a)Mosquito Control
I.Adulticide -Minimum 10 applications (only Thursday or Friday night unless
permission is granted hy the City)
II.Larvacide -3 applications (May 21,July 1 and August 15)
III.Barrier and Perimeter Control-All City-sponsored events
b)Treatments to the entire City
c)Report insect ill and population of mosquitoes to City on a regular basis
d)Recommend control measures for standing water
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa in
session this 23rd of May 2011 that it hereby approves the proposal by Wilson Bros.Pest Control
in the amount of $9,775 for the first ten applications and $900.00 per app ation thereafter.
