RESOLUTION 11-112
APPROVING THE RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALICE'S ROAD/IOSTH STREET
INTERCHANGE JUSTIFICATION REPORT METHODOLOGY LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING (MLOU)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Alice's Road/lOS'h Street Interchange has been a top capital improvement
priority for the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,approval of the Alice's Road/lOS'h Street Interchange requires an Interchange
Justification Report to be reviewed and approved by the Iowa Deparhnent of Transportation and
the Federal Highway Administration;AND,
WHEREAS,prior to the submittal of the Interchange Justification Report,a Methodology Letter
of Understanding is required to be submitted which represents the general parameters and
approach for evaluation of the Interchange Justification Report proposal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 20th day of June,2011 that the Interchange Justification Report Methodology Letter of
Understanding (MLOU)is hereby approved and accepted by the City of Waukee,and the Mayor
is authorized to sign the MLOU on behalf ofthe City of Waukee.
