RESOLUTION 11-97
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PEACHTREE DRIVE BETWEEN SE
DRIFTWOOD LANE AND SE CRABAPPLE COURT (GRANT PARK SUBDIVISION)ON
SATURDAY,JULY 9,2011,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 P.M.AND 11:00 P.M.FOR
THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Matthew Dorwart of 2125 SE Peachtree Drive requests the temporary closure of SE
Peachtree Drive between SE Driftwood Lane and SE Crabapple Court (Grant Park subdivision)on
Saturday,July 9,2011,between the hours of 2:00 p.m.and 11:00 p.m.for the pUlpose of a
neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this zo"
day of June,2011,that it hereby approves temporary closing of SE Peachtree Drive between SE
Driftwood Lane and SE Crabapple Court (Grant Park subdivision)on Saturday,July 9,2011,between
the hours of 2:00 p.m.and 11 :00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
