RESOLUTION 11-99
APPROVAL OF THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF EMERSON LANE,SNYDER
STREET AND HANNAH LANE SOUTH OF AIDAN STREET ON WEDNESDAY,JULY
6,2011 THROUGH SUNDAY JULY 17,2011 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.
AND 8:00 P.M.ON MONDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS AND BETWEEN THE HOURS
OF 8:00 A.M.AND 10:00 P.M.ON SUNDAYS AND SATURDAYS FOR THE PURPOSE
OF THE GLYNN VILLAGE LIVING GREEN HOME SHOW
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Hubbell Realty will have a Living Green Home Show within the Glynn Village
Conservation Community beginning July 7,2011 and continuing tluough July 17,2011;AND
WHEREAS,Hubbell Realty has requested that Emerson Lane,Snyder Street and Hannah Lane
south of Aidan Street be closed beginning on July 6,2011 tluough July 17,2011 between the
hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mondays tluough Fridays and between the hours of 8:00 AM to
10:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays for the event;AND
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of June 2011 that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Emerson Lane,Snyder
Street and Hannah Lane south of Aidan Street on Wednesday July 6,2011 through July 17,2011
between the hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mondays tluough Fridays and between the hours of
8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays for the event,
