RESOLUTION 11-100
APPROVING PURCHASE OF A WHEELED COACH AMBULANCE FROM
FELD FIRE OF CARROLL,IOWA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $160,000.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,on June 6,2011,the Waukee City Council held a public hearing and
approved additional action on proceedings to take additional action for the authorization
ofa Loan Agreement and the issuance of Not to Exceed $165,000 General Obligation
Capital Loan Notes (Resolution #11-87)related to the purchase of an ambulance for use
by the Waukee Fire Department;AND,
WHEREAS,after reviewing quotes received,the Waukee Fire Department
recommends approval of the purchase of a Wheeled Coach ambulance from Feld Fire of
Carroll,Iowa,in the amount of $160,000.00,which includes a $5,500.00 trade-in of all
older 1996 ambulance;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of J une 2011 that it hereby approves the purchase of a Wheeled
Coach ambulance from Feld Fire of Carroll,Iowa,in the amount of$160,000.00
