RESOLUTION 11-104
AWARDING THE PURCHASE OF A 2007 FORD E350 CUBE VAN TO JOHN'S
AUTO SALES IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,000.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
ofa 2007 Ford E350 cube van to John's Auto Sales in the amount of$ll,OOO.OO;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase will replace a 1994 cargo van that is used by the
Public Works Department to respond to pump station emergencies;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase will allow staff to have all necessary pumps and
repair equipment on hand when responding to emergencies.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of June 2011 that it hereby approves the purchase of a 2007 Ford
E350 cube van to John's Auto Sales in the amount of $11,000.00
