RESOLUTION 11-124
APPROVING CITY FIBER OPTIC NETWORK PROJECT ENGINEERING SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN SNYDER &ASSOCIATES,INC.,AND
THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City desires to retain the engineering services of Snyder &Associates related
to the City Fiber Optic Network Project (the "Project");AND,
WHEREAS,the scope of the Proj ect includes the connection of various traffic signals in the
City of Waukee and the connection of City Hall,Public Safety,Public Works and potentially
Public Library facilities with fiber optic cable;AND,
WHEREAS,the fee for engineering services for the various proposed phases of the Project shall
be a maximum not to exceed amount of $96,600.00;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Engineering Services by and between Snyder &Associates and the City of
Waukee related to the City Fiber Optic Network Project is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 11th day ofJuly 2011.
