RESOLUTION 11-143
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION
FOR THE ASSISTANT LIBRARY DIRECTOR PERFORMING INTERIM DIRECTOR
DUTIES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees has requested the Assistant Library
Director to act as Interim Library Director,in addition to her regular duties;AND,
WHEREAS,Devon Murphy-Petersen,Assistant Library Director,will continue to work in that
capacity as well as provide assistance to the Board of Trustees while she acts as Interim Library
Director;for the period of August 3rd,2011 through August 31 st,2011 AND,
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees,and the City
Council to provide additional compensation related to the employee's performance of those
additional duties on a temporary basis and to be allowed up to five hours of overtime per week
during her interim director timer period.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Devon
Murphy-Petersen be temporarily compensated,in addition to her compensation previously
established for her duties as the Assistant Library Director,$5.50 per hour,as well as allowing
up to five hours of overtime per week,for the period of August 3rd,2011 through August 31s"
2011.
