RESOLUTION 11-160
APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM STERNQUIST CONSTRUCTION RELATED TO
THE 6TH STREET PATCHING PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas Couuty,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Works Department solicited and received quotes for the s"
Street Paving Project,which consists of the completion of the final 221 linear feet of curb and
gutter missing along 6th Street from the downtown business district to south of Waukee
Elementary School,including 189 square yards of street patching;as well as the installation of
bike path to complete the route on the east side of 6th Street to Waukee Elementary School;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Public Works Department recommends approving the proposal from Sternquist
Construction in the amount of$20,400.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Couucil of the City of Waukee this 22nd
day of August,2011,that the proposal from Stemquist Construction for the 6lh Street Patching
Project in the amouut of $20,400.00 is hereby approved.
