RESOLUTION 11-155
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PARKER DRIVE BETWEEN
505 SE PARKER DRIVE AND 525 SE PARKER DRIVE ON FRIDAY,AUGUST 26,2011,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:30 P.M.AND 8:30 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF
A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Dustin Petty of 525 SE Parker Drive requests the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive
between 505 SE Parker Drive and 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 26,2011,between the hours
of 5:30 p.m.and 8:30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 22nd
day of August,2011,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive between 505
SE Parker Drive and 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 26,2011,between the hours of5:30 p.m.
and 8:30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
