RESOLUTION 11-164
APPROVING IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT FOR AN
IOWA CLEAN AIR ATTAINMENT PROGRAM (ICAAP)PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the Iowa Department of Transportation has provided an Agreement for an Iowa
Clean Air Attainment Program (ICAAP)Project (Agreement No.20ll-ICAAP-05);AND,
WHEREAS,the agreement relates to the development and completion of the Waukee Traffic
Signal System Network interconnecting the traffic signal network on the primary corridors of
Hickman Road/Highway 6 and University Avenue,as well as connecting to the Waukee Public
Works Facility;AND,
WHEREAS,eligible project costs for the project which are incurred after the date of Federal
Highway Administration (FHA)authorization shall be paid as ICAAP grant funding in the
amount of $320,000.00,local match contribution of $320,000.00,for a project total of
$640,000.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the Agreement has been reviewed by both the City Attorney and Project Engineer;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council that the City of
Waukee hereby approves the Iowa Department of Transportation Agreement for an Iowa Clean
Air Attainment Program (ICAAP)Project.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the nud day of August
2011.
