RESOLUTION 11-159
AWARDING PURCHASE OF A 8'6"WESTERN POLY MULTI-POSITION V
PLOW AND A BOSS 8'2"STEEL V PLOW TO TRUCK EQUIPMENT OF
DES MOINES,IOWA,IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $10,200.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of both a 8'6"Western Poly Multi-Position V Plow and a Boss 8'2"Steel V Plow to
Truck Equipment of Des Moines,Iowa,in the total amount of $10,200.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase will replace the snow plows currently included
with two trucks to be replaced as part of the Public Works Department equipment
replacement program (Resolntions #11-157 and 11-158);
NOW Tl3!,BEFORE \J~!IRESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session thil~l day of.:rOl1 that it hereby approves awarding purchase of a 8'6"
Westem Poly Multi-Position V Plow and a Boss 8'2"Steel V Plow to Truck
Equipment of Des Moines,Iowa,in the total amount of$10,200.00.
