RESOLUTION 11-167
APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE
REPRESENTED EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK (2011)
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on October 4,2010,the Waukee City Council approved a proposal from HR-
Onesource to develop both non-represented and represented employee handbooks,revise job
descriptions and prepare a staffing plan (Resolution #10-273);AND,
WHEREAS,Hk-One'Source has presented City staff with a handbook for those employees
represented by the collective bargaining agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff has reviewed the proposed employee handbook and recommends
approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 12th day of September,2011,that it hereby approves and adopts the City of Waukee
Represented Employee Handbook (2011).
