RESOLUTION 11-189
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
ESTIMATED TOTAL COST OF WORK,AND A PLAT AND SCHEDULE FOR
PHASE I OF THE 2011 SIDEWALK PROGRAM
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee arranged for the preparations of the plats,schedules,estimates of
cost,plans and specifications of the public improvement projects undertaken in accordance with Phase
I of the 2011 sidewalk improvement program;AND
WHEREAS,the City,has received preliminary plans and specifications,estimated total cost of the
work,and a plat and schedule and filed the same with the Clerk;AND
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee has no reason to amend the documents filed by
in accordance with Iowa law and determines that the same should be acknowledged as filed with City
Clerk
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Waukee hereby accepts the
preliminary plans and specifications,estimated total costs of the work and plat as filed.The City
Council determines to proceed with the public improvement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby causes a proposed resolution of
necessity to be prepared and introduced in accordance with Section 384.49 Code of Iowa for
consideration of the City Council after public hearing as required by law.Public hearing has been set
for October 10,2011 at 5:30 pm at City Hall.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the LOth day of October
2011.
