RESOLUTION 11-226
APPROVING PURCHASE OF A CAB CHASSIS WITH SNOW PLOW
PACKAGE FROM O'HALLORAN INTERNATIONAL OF ALTOONA,IOWA,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $165,308.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of a 2012 Intemational WorkS tar 7000 4x2 Chassis from O'Halloran Intemationa1 of
Altoona,Iowa,in the amount of $83,618.00,including a snow plow package in the
amount of$81,690.00,for a total of$165,308.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase will replace an existing dump truck and plow as
part of the Public Works Department equipment replacement program
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of December,2011,that it hereby approves the purchase of a Cab
Chassis with Snow Plow Package from O'Halloran Intemational of Altoona,Iowa,in
the amount of $165,308.00.
