RESOLUTION 11-242
APPROVING PURCHASE OF A JOHN DEERE 1600 TURBO SERIES II
COMMERCIAL WIDE AREA MOWER FROM VAN-WALL EQUIPMENT,INC.,
OF PERRY,IOWA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $47,756.92
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Public Works Department recommends the purchase
of a 101m Deere 1600 Turbo Series II Commercial Wide Area mower from Van Wall
Equipment,Inc.,of Perry,Iowa,in the amount of $47,756.92;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase is seen as a necessity due to additional ground
maintenance for the approximately 10 acres surrounding the new Waukee Public Works
Facility;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this io"day of Decem her,2011,that it hereby approves the purchase of a John
Deere 1600 Turbo Series II Commercial Wide Area mower from Van Wall Equipment,
Inc.,of Perry,Iowa,in the amount of $47,756.92.
