RESOLUTION 12-09
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE
FOR THE YEAR 2012
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint an individual to the position of
Chief of Police;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard reappoints Larry J.Phillips as Chief of Police for
calendar year 2012;AND,
WHEREAS,LaITy J.Phillips has served as the City of Waukee Chief of Police since
January 1980;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on the
9th of January,2012,does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of LaITy J.Phillips as
Chief of Police for the Year 2012.
