RESOLUTION 12-38
APPROVING AN EXTENSION TO THE SITE PLAN FORRY-VEE GROCERY,C-
STORE,AND CARW ASH
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council has previously approved the site plan for Hy-Vee Grocery,C-
Store,and Carwash on February 28,2011 after receiving a positive recommendation from the
Planning and Zoning Commission on February 8,2011;AND,
WHEREAS,§304.9(B)-Validity of Approval section of the Site Plan Ordinance of the Waukee
Municipal Code maintains that site plans are valid for 1 year and may be extended for a period of
1 additional year upon approval by City Council;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission approved an extension to
the Site Plan for Hy-Vee Grocery,C-Store,and Carwash on February 14,2012;AND,
WHEREAS,the Site Plan for Hy-Vee Grocery,C-Store,and Carwash remains in general
conformance with §304 -Site Plan Ordinance of the Waukee Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 27th day of February,2012 that the extension to Site Plan for Hy-Vee Grocery,C-Store,and
Carwash is approved.
